The WASP is HitchHikers' take on a pack built for the urban jungle. An urban pack, in our opinion, is a pack that is versatile and easy to use. Once carried, it is never on the user's mind. Designed to be comfortable under load and discreet enough not to draw attention. Sufficient features and organisation options help keep belongings easily accessible without being overly complicated. A discreetly attractive and versatile pack to simply work as your preferred everyday carry.

The WASP is designed in Singapore and it took the team several months of design work across multiple iterations. At HitchHikers, we primarily use our backpacks to carry our laptops and work stuffs to office. While there are many other packs that would fit the bill, we always wanted to create something we can truly call our own, something that we can proudly say "Designed in Singapore".

The WASP is approximately 18 litres and deliberately so. Sufficient to carry a day's worth yet minimising on excess space to reduce tendency of lugging unnecessary items just to fill the empty space. Its low profile and sleek design allows for easy carry in crowded public transport.

The intentionally simple and clean exterior has 4 access points to the front, main, laptop and discreet compartments.

A dump-all front compartment offers quick access to smaller miscellaneous items such as pens, keys, or even name card holders and a packet of sweets.

The padded laptop compartment easily holds up to 17" laptops and is designed to provide travellers convenient access during security scans. Padding at the bottom protects your laptop against ground impact.

The discreet compartment at the back is designed to fit travel documents, money or wallets when travelling in places where security is paramount.

 An inner sleeve in the main compartment provides organization for documents and folders.

A gusset compartment caters to sweaters and jackets while the Velcro (loop side) area above it caters to admin panels and hook backed pouches or patches.

2 carrying handles at the top allows for evenly distributed weight when hand carried as well as allowing the pack to be hung.

A side handle allows users to carry it like a briefcase or simply serve as a a handle for easy retrieval of the backpack from an overhead cabin.

2 carefully designed columns of closed cell foam padding create an air channel for additional comfort.

The shoulder straps are designed to provide maximum comfort even when the sternum straps (sold separately) are not used.

Exceptional focus was placed on the fabric and component quality. The WASP is made with 500 Denier Cordura, military specification hardware, military grade Velcro (hook and loop) as well as military grade webbing. Built to withstand the urban jungle with an executive look!
